This Ronald McDonald Family Room is a great place for you and your family to sit and wait while visiting or staying with an ill or injured child in hospital. The facility is also home to Kulunga Moort Mia, a culturally sensitive space where families can connect with Aboriginal culture, and relax away from the wards and clinics.

We want to make sure families have a home-away-from-home inside the Hospital, away from the clinical environment of the ward.
That’s why these Family Rooms were purpose built for the free and exclusive use of parents, carers, guardians and their families with children undergoing inpatient or outpatient treatment at Perth Children’s Hospital
Both the Family Room and Kulunga Moort Mia are located on the ground floor of the Perth Children’s Hospital, near the Northern Entrance of the hospital which opens onto the hospital’s green space.
