About Us
A place that feels like home.
Welcome to Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia!
We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital support programs for families with sick or injured children.
RMHC WA introduced the very first Ronald McDonald House in Western Australia in Subiaco in 1990. While our original House is no longer running, since then, we have opened the doors to our state-of-the-art 47 bedroom House in Nedlands, and a 14 bedroom House inside Perth Children’s Hospital.
Through our supported accommodation and wraparound services, we strive to keep families together when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness.
Our Ronald McDonald Houses and Programs are run by a tirelessly hard working team of staff and volunteers, aided by the generous support of our donors, sponsors and corporate partners.
The time at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to best heal Danika after her surgery, safely begin her trial, and have access to regular medical care. A few nights in the middle of the night we had to rush to ED – Looking out the window and seeing the hospital eased our minds.
