Reconciliation
Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia is an essential service within the Western Australian health system that families rely on, and we continue to recognise the connection to lands, waters and communities that our families come from.
We value inclusion for all and continually strive to provide a safe environment for our families, staff, volunteers and visitors with diverse cultural values, practises, and beliefs.
Our commitment to reconciliation is to respectfully listen, understand and respond to the wellbeing needs of Aboriginal families with sick children away from Country. By deepening our understanding, we are committed to advocate for the health and wellbeing needs of all family members.
As we look forward to the future and move towards our Innovate RAP, we encourage all Western Australians to join us in taking an active part in healing and reconciliation.
Impact
At the heart of our purpose, Ronald McDonald House Charities WA (RMHC WA) strives to keep sick children and their families together, supported and thriving; far from home at the most difficult time of their lives.
Acknowledgement of Country
Ronald McDonald House Charities WA proudly cares for families on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Noongar People and the Traditional Custodians, the Whadjuk People.
We pay respects to Elders past and present for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.
