Plan a gift in your Will
Families supporting families

Your legacy ensures families are together, and their wellbeing is supported during the toughest of times.
With a state as vast as Western Australia, when a child suddenly becomes ill or injured, many families find themselves needing to access medical care hundreds if not thousands of kilometres from home and the support of loved ones.
Your gift will provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare in Perth – 24/7, 365 days a year, through Ronald McDonald House Charities WA.
How you can make a difference
Including a gift for Ronald McDonald House Charities WA (RMHC WA) in your Will, no matter the size, will make a genuine impact. Your legacy will help keep families together during the most difficult times in their lives, and you can decide how to contribute:
Residual Gift
A residual gift can be the whole or percentage of your remaining estate (residue), after all provisions have been met for your loved ones and all expenses and debts have been paid.
The value of a residual gift will rise with inflation. As this kind of gift doesn’t decrease with inflation, it is one of the most efficient ways to support RMHC WA.
Percentage Gift
A percentage gift leaves a portion of (a percentage) of your whole estate, so you can divide your estate between a number of loved ones or charitable organisations.
The value of a percentage gift will rise with inflation, so it will be worth as much to us tomorrow as it is today. As this kind of gift doesn’t decrease with inflation, it is one of the most efficient ways to support RMHC WA
Specific Financial Gift
A specific financial gift, or pecuniary gift, is a specific dollar value set at the time you make your Will to be given to a loved one, charity or organisation. This type of gift is explicitly defined with an exact monetary value (e.g. $10,000) and is distinct from asset gifts (specific items) and the remainder of the estate.
The value of pecuniary gift will decrease over time, as inflation and the cost of living increases.
Asset Gift
Assets owned by you personally are estate assets. This means that you can specify in your Will to whom the assets should be gifted. Assets can include real estate, shares, bonds and other assets like jewellery or artwork.
No matter how you choose to give, your gift will ensure Western Australian families with ill or injured children have access to essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare.
