Ronald McDonald House Charities WA gives families with sick or injured children what they need most – each other.

Ronald McDonald House Charities WA’s (RMHC WA) purpose is to keep patients and families together and resilient.  To achieve this, RMHC WA’s supported accommodation, facilities and programs integrate with hospital infrastructure to optimise efficiencies, patient access and experience of healthcare – 24/7, 365 days a year.

Participate

We would not be able to provide the level of support we do without the incredible community of supporters from throughout Western Australia who give up their time to fundraise for WA’s sick kids

Host a Fundraiser

There are many ways you can make a difference.

Donate now, create your own fundraising event or support an existing activity, request donations instead of gifts for your special celebrations, or leave a tribute to a loved one.

Home for Dinner

A home cooked meal is often taken for granted and it’s for that reason we set up ‘Home for Dinner’. The program invites you to cook a meal from the heart, for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House at QEII, Ronald McDonald House in Perth Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House on Park.

Lovin From The Oven

Lovin’ from the Oven gives you the opportunity to ‘bake a difference’ in the lives of families with a seriously sick or injured child. The donation of your time and baking talents can provide a temporary escape from the worry for families in need.

The Big Breakfast

The Big Breakfast allows community and corporate groups to utilise the Ronald McDonald House kitchen to provide breakfast to the families who stay with us at Ronald McDonald House Nedlands and Perth Children’s Hospital. All cooking equipment is provided, however groups are required to bring in their own ingredients and recipes.

Donating Goods

Christmas at RMH at QEII

Donating hand-made or new goods to RMHC WA means you’re helping the hundreds of WA families who are supported by our programs year on year.

Western Australia is one of the most isolated health jurisdictions in the world. It can create mental health and well-being challenges for young WA patients and their families who need to access complex or critical healthcare in Perth for weeks, months and sometimes over years.

Far from home, jobs, schools and communities; financial and emotional burden can adversely affect a family’s life, well-being and importantly, the patient experience and outcomes.

Ronald McDonald House Charities’ family-centred care model is globally renowned for the quality and efficacy of its service. The model recognises family well-being as a critical foundation to short and longer-term outcomes for young patients beyond their hospital treatment.
