Donating hand-made or new goods

Your donation goes directly to helping WA families.

Donating hand-made or new goods to RMHC WA means you’re helping the hundreds of WA families who are supported by our programs year on year.

We deeply value the support of individuals like you who make it possible for us to continue our mission of providing a "home away from home" for families during challenging times. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for any contribution you can make.

Please note: we can't accept second hand or used items.

Christmas at RMH at QEII

Seasonal Gifts

Every year in the lead up to Christmas we run "Santa's Outback Workshop" in the Ronald McDonald House at QEII, where parents and carers staying with us can select gifts for their children. Then our "volunt-elfs" wrap the presents for our families, so that on Christmas Day all children staying in the house receive a present from Santa.

In the lead up to December, we seek the following to assist with the festivities:

  • Toys (new and in original packaging)
  • Books
  • Games
  • Gift cards for Kmart, Coles, Woolworths, IGA, Target or Big W

Help us make Santa's job even merrier by ensuring all your generous gifts are in our hands by 11 December.

Acknowledgement of Country

Ronald McDonald House WA acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are privileged to live, work and welcome families. We honour their enduring connection to Country, culture, and community, and pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present.

Here, on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja, we open our doors to families from across Western Australia when they need us most. Grounded in the enduring care and wisdom of the Traditional Custodians of this land, we offer comfort, safety, and a sense of home.

We recognise the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and we walk alongside them with humility, respect, and a commitment to listening, learning, and healing together.
